Abstract:
We have used Monte-Carlo method to generate the longitudinal phase space distribution for beam in a circular accelerator. The inputs are rf wave form and machine parameters. Compare the extracted data with measured Schottky spectrum and wall current monitor outputs. Attempt is made to extract 95% longitudinal emittance of the beam.
