Abstract:
This presentation shows how we extracted the 'effective bandwidth' of the Recycler stochastic cooling systems using 'standard' cooling rate measurements (beam based measurements). The first part highlights the derivation that leads to the expression of an effective bandwidth that depends on the cooling rate. Summary of the measurements are presented and compared to expectations based on open loop measurements (non-beam based measurements).
