Abstract:
The report analyzes efficiency of accumulating antiprotons in the Recycler ring using data from SDA and from the beam intensity reported by the Recycler's DCCT. The storage efficiency reaches 93% at normal Recycler intensities (~350E10). Non-optimal positioning of electron beam affects the life time and may decrease the storage efficiency by several percents. To make the good efficiency more reproducible, a mode of operation with a constant electron beam offset has been proposed and is being used.
