Abstract:
During extraction of antiprotons, Recycler operates at the stability boundary to provide the brightest beams to MI. Bringing more tail particles into effective interaction with the core should improve the beam stability. This can be accomplished by modifying the RF manipulations during extraction, namely, by replacing so-called "hot bucket" by "anti-bucket".
