Abstract:
Beam loss Monitor (BLM) measurments, as recorded by the datalogger, are recorded each Main Injector cycle. Residual radiation has been recorded at bar-coded locations on Main Injector devices. A linear fit of residual radiation vs integrals of the BLM measurements, weighted by isotope lifetimes provides coefficients which predict residual radiation produced as a function of beam loss rate. Preliminary results at a few locations are presented.
