Abstract:
The Booster BPM Daughter Trigger Generators provide the digitizer sampling triggers for the BPM digitizers. The trigger delay settings are setup so that "Turn-by-Turn" sampling of the Booster beam positions is such that the position value digitized and recorded is of the same section of beam, each turn, for each of the 48 BPM's. The delay adjustments have a finite resolution of 40ns. There is also an issue with the fact that both the Long and Short, Vertical and Horizontal BPM's of a specific Period must share one trigger.
