Abstract:
We have measured beam energy spread at injection energy of 400MeV in the Booster as a function of Booster turns. We create a notch of width ~30-45ns at about 10us after of the completion of the injection and measure the time required for the two shoulders of the notch have grazing touch. We find that
1) dE|full=1.24+/-0.05 MeV or dp/P|full=(1.81+/-0.07)E-3
2) NO difference is seen between 3BT and 10BT Measurements
3) <3% effect with Debuncher cavity ON and OFF (at this) time

These measurements also showed a motion of the notch center by upto about 60 ns in about 100us.
