Abstract:
Fermilab is working towards a 1+ megawatt Neutrino program. To achieve that goal, the lab is developing a plan called PIP II. This will be a new Linac which will deliver 800 MeV beam to the Booster accelerator. However, to fully achieve the flux goals, the Booster and MI/Recycler will require significant amount of work. During this past year, discussions and some initial work has begun to address the needed Booster modifications. In this talk I will address the present situation (PIP) and then describe the issues and efforts required for the Booster to meet the PIP II era goals.
