These are the Basic Steps to follow when setting up LabVIEW SCC.

1.  Get Access to BeamsSrv1\labVIEW and beamssrv1\LabVIEW-data from Networking.  Contact fermilab Helpdesk.
2.  Install LabVIEW 6.1 (beamssrv1\labview\windows)
3.  Install LabVIEW 6.1 Professional (beamssrv1\labview\windows)
4.  Map the Labview-data directory that resides on BeamsSRV1 as a local drive.
5.  Launch LabVIEW
6.  Open a New/Old VI
7.  Go to Tools->Source Code Control->Configure SCC Options...
8.  Select Build-in for the provider and click Configure...
9.  Select the Mapped Drive as the Master ex. I:\
10. Select "No limit on backups and the "Using internal locking"  beck button.
11. Click OK
12. Leave master as is, and select a local work directory.  The files you get from SCC will be automatically put into this directory, and only files in that directory can be added to SCC.  Make is as general or specific as desired.
13. Select your operating platform and click OK
14. Click Save and you are done!
