Rick intends to to contact AD people once he takes over. 3) proceed with migration plan that Dennis and Michelle presented. There will be 2 machines (development and production) in the integration department. The plan can be found as a file in doc 958. 4) continue populating database in the approximate order of a) MI is "done" for location and magnetic b) Recycller: location and magnetic properties c) Debuncher: loaction and magnetic properties d) Accumulator: Location and magnetic properties: e) Booster: location and magnetic properties(if there are any...) f) transfer lines: location, magnetic properties In all cases, survey data should be added when it is available. ( Dennis, Norm) 5) write down the ultimate goals of the database project. (Valeri) 6) Web interfaces for "spontaneous" users - this will be the responsibility of Michelle with the possibility of consulting help from CD. ( Norm's note can be found in Doc 958.) 7) Standard reports. Responsibility for this will transfer from Dennis to Michelle as Michelle comes up to speed. Details: Everything is pretty much covered in the Action Items above or notes from Norm and Dennis. There was considerable discussion that finally clarified the understanding that a user friendly web interface that allows special purpose queries of the "spontaneous user" will be the responsibility of the integrations group of Michelle, Francois, and Leo. There was also much discussion about the problems of getting survey data. This is a lab wide issue as AD, CD, PPD are all involved. Joel is the appropriate person to lead the effort to "help" AMG get the help it needs.
