Minutes of the April 16, 2010 Tevatron Dept Meeting http://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=3298 * Weekly Operations Summary (Xiaolong Zhang) - The Tevatron delivered 54 pb^-1 to the experiments over the past 7 days. There have been 8 stores with initial luminosities between 272 and a *new record* 378 ub^-1/s; all terminations have been intentional. There was a maintenance day driven by isolating the fault on Feeder 46A (Tevatron ring cryo compressors); there were long acceses into CDF, D0, and the Tevatron. Tevatron work included: B1 sump replacement, leak checking in F1 and P150 line (leaks found and repaired), separator conditioning. The F2 house was also derimed, but recovery took much longer than expected due to a failed expander valve and melting an additional blockage. Following a network problem, the synchrotron light monitor has not been returning any beam data. An apparent HV cable in the tunnel has rendered useless several beam loss monitors in B1; an access is needed soon to investigate, as we rely on some of these for tuning. * Investigating Higher-Order Mode Power in RF Cavities (John Reid) - Postponed again since John got called away on short notice to repair a water valve for the Main Injector RF system. * Plan for Next Week (All) - Deliver luminosity! - Crystal Collimator (Dean et al., end-of-store) - Pbar-only store? (verify BPM TBT timing, coupling on ramp, lattice measurements) - 150 GeV Chromaticity Study (Tan, proton-only) - B0/D0 Aperture Scans (Bruce, Alex, proton-only)
