Minutes of the 7 May 2010 Tevatron Dept Meeting http://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=3341 * Weekly Operations Summary (Dean Still) - The Tevatron delivered 60 pb^-1 to CDF and D0 over the past 7 days. There were 8 HEP stores with initial luminosities between 270 and 397 ub^-1/s. Store 7789 aborted after 12.9 hrs due to a faulty tunnel door interlock switch at D2. Store 7795 ended after only 2 hours due to a pbar abort kicker pre-fire. Shot 7781 never made it HEP; there was a quench in the squeeze that is still not completely understood. An aperture scan of D0 was completed; no problems noted. Plans are being developed to install an (active) longitudinal damper for the pbars. The DCCT (DC beam intensity measurement) electronics suffered a hardware failure and a software incompatibility; both were fixed relatively quickly and the system is fully functional again. During D0 12 hr access, various Tevatron maintenance will be performed and the vertical crystal collimator goniometer will be removed to prepare it for new crystals and reinstallation during the summer shutdown period. * Plan for Next Week - Recover from today's accesses and deliver luminosity! - Test E17 pinger (Alex, Bruce - shot-setup) - Aperture scans at B0 (Bruce - proton-only) - Chromaticity Measurements (Tan - proton-only) - Check Tune Mult (Ron - end-of-HEP)
