Minutes of the 10 Sep 2010 Tevatron Dept Meeting http://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=3590 * Weekly Operations Summary (C-Y Tan) - The Tevatron delivered 43 pb^-1 to CDF and D0 over the past 7 days despite the downtime for recovery from the F3 cryo vacuum problem. There have been 11 HEP stores with initial luminosities between 269 ub^-1/s. Store 8060 quench at D17 after only 2.5 hrs likely due to cryo vacuum. Store 8065 suffered from a couple of problems: D1 BPMs hung up delaying scraping, and a controls issue causing a dipole corrector to have no output current resulting in a large orbit distortion and poor lifetime before compensating for it. The D1 BPMs have required numerous reboots lately, and 1 or 2 BPMs have had occasional glitches in their readings that have caused problems smoothing orbits. As we ramp up beam intensities, we have been adjusting orbits through CDF and D0 to help reduce beam losses during setup. * Plan for Next Week (All) - Deliver luminosity. - Test a bug fix in the C49 application (Ron, quick between stores) - HEP Tune Mult Calibration (Ron, 1-2 hr EOS) - Longitudinal Beam Shaking (Tan, 15 min during shot-setup)
