Minutes of the February 11, 2011 Tevatron Dept Meeting http://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=4045 * Weekly Operations Summary (Dean Still): The Tevatron delivered 53.4 pb-1 over the past week. There were 8 HEP stores with initial luminosities between 92 and 353 e30. 6 stores lasted until their intended end, and two were aborted. One store was aborted when the CHL cold box tripped and a lengthy cryo recovery was needed. A second store ended when a VCB opened as a because of snow inside the control box resulting from the blizzard. These two events accounted for most of the more than 26 hours of downtime for the week. There are still problems with the first Pbar bunch in a train having lower intensities than the others. There was also an apperant B17 separator spark (external from the tank) during one shot. There are still frequent Pbar longitudinal blow ups early in stores. There was a 3 hour end of store study devoted to T-980 during the week devoted to demonstrating channeling with the quasi-mosaic crystal. * Plan for Next Week - Keep on delivering luminosity. - Crystal collimator (Dean et al., 3 hrs end-of-store) - Hollow e-beam (Alex & Giulio, 3 hrs end-of-store) - Pbar longitudinal damper (Tan, proton-only 2 to 3 hours) - Longitudinal shaking at flattop (Tan, proton-only) - Low Beta Quad tickling (Jerry, proton-only) - e-cloud (Xiaolong, 1 hr proton-only) - APG card testing for Luminosity leveling (Ron, 30 minutes)
