Minutes of the 13 May 2011 Tevatron Dept Meeting https://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=4450 * Weekly Operations Summary (Jerry Annala) - The Tevatron delivered 63.8 pb^-1 to the experiments over the past week. There have been 8 HEP stores with initial luminosities between 123 and 399 ub^-1/s. All of these stores were teminated intentionally - in fact, we're on a nice streak of 25 consecutive stores terminated intentionally. There was a computer network "storm" during one shot-setup this week that caused some delay for things needing to be completed manually. One of the collimator front-end crates was being flooded with interrupt requests that caused delays in scraping for 3 stores; it has since been fixed. Thursday was an access day for maintenance during a ground fault hunt in the P1 transfer line. There may be some small pbar emittance growth soon after initating collisions; a minor tune change should fix that. * Study Period for Crystal Collimator & Hollow eBeam (Dean Still) - Over the next 2 weeks, the T-980 folks (including visitors from CERN and INFN) will have ~30 hours of end-of-store studies to test crystals and their pixel detector - five 6-hr long periods. They will also likely request trying to use 2-plane crystal collimation (instead of the normal tungsten primary collimators) for a complete HEP store or 2. In addition, there will be 2-3 end-of-store periods (3 hrs each) for hollow electron beam studies. * Plan for Next Week (All) - Deliver luminosity. - Crystal Collimator (several end-of-store studies) - Hollow eBeam (1 or 2 end-of-store periods) - Lumi Leveling (Ron, middle of store) - Pbar longitudinal damper (Tan et al., proton-only)
