Minutes of the 22 July 2011 Tevatron Dept Meeting https://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=4638 * Operations Summary (Dean Still) - The Tevatron delivered 63 pb^-1 to CDF and D0 over the past week. There have 8 HEP stores with initial luminosities between 314 and 400 ub^-1/s. Three stores ended unintentionally - one caused by faulty magnet power lead electronics, one caused by 2 RF cavity trips in quick succession, one by lightning glitching quench protection electronics. The very hot and humid temperatures have been causing problems with air and water cooling across the complex this week. Various bits of maintenance were completed when opportunities arose. One shot was delayed for ~9 hours to diagnose problems with our "reverse injection" tune-up; it turned out the separators were in the wrong polarity, but partly driven by confusion from a likely controls software problem (fixed later). * Plan for Next Week (All) - Deliver luminosity, no matter the weather. - Hollow e-beam (Alex, Giulio - during/end HEP store) - Luminosity Leveling (Ron - start of HEP) - Crystal collimator (the usual suspects - end of HEP store) - Next "dedicated" block of accelerator studies: Aug 15-29
