Minutes of the 23 Sep 2011 Tevatron Dept Meeting https://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=4880 * Weekly Operations Summary (Jerry Annala) - The Tevatron delivered 52 pb^-1 (all at 1.96 TeV center-of-mass energy) to the experiments over the past week. There have been 9 HEP stores with initial luminosities between 205 and 364 ub^-1/s. Store 9131 aborted due to a failed +5V supply in the controller for the C3 main bus power supply. An abort kicker pre-fire (AAK5) ended store 9135. Shot 9140 never became a store - a B11 vertical separator spark during the squeeze resulted in a magnet quench. A beam loss monitor at E0 developed an offset in its reading that caused collimators to remain too far away from the beam and elevated losses during the squeeze and during stores. The F3 wet engine needed an overhaul and U-tube replacement. * Plan for Next Week (All) - The final countdown - end of Tevatron operation at 14:00 on Fri, Sept 30. - Deliver luminosity. - Hollow electron beam studies (if TEL-2 can be fixed in time) - Crystal collimator (T-980 - end of stores)
