Abstract:

This talk will be aimed at giving members of the Accelerator Division a basic understanding of the physics of MiniBooNE and NuMI. A brief introduction to neutrino physics will be given, and the, along with the role to be played by each of these experiments. Experimental needs, status and prospects will also be discussed.
