Abstract:

A brief overview of the current design of the Proton Driver 8 GeV Superconducting Linac will be presented. Plans for building and testing the front-end of this machine in the Meson Detector Building will be described. Active work within the Accelerator Division will be highlighted including high power RF vector modulator development, design of the Main Injector injection system, beam simulations, and klystron modulator construction.
