Abstract:

A talk presented on August 15, 2006 by Jens Peters.
Jens breifly covered the history of H- ion source and then went into more detail regarding the development of an external antenna RF ion source at DESY. This source is being considered for the HINS and is also being reconfigured for use at CERN.
