We have carried out longitudinal beam dynamics simulations using ESME for the high intensity beam in the Booster from capture-to-extraction for operational conditions. The simulations use measured beam energy spread at injection, rf voltage curve and the injection details. We were able to reproduce many of the observed features like emittance growth and beam loss pattern. A slow beam loss observed operationally during early part of the cycle is perhaps are not related to the longitudinal beam dynamics. We also show some simulation results for a possible future path.
