Abstract:

Fermilab Accelerator Science and Technology (FAST) facility is a new high-brightness electron beam accelerator complex that comprises of a linear 300 MeV injector and 150 MeV IOTA ring. Currently, it is under commissioning at Fermilab. In this talk, I will report recent progress in flat beam generation in the FAST injector, discuss challenges and present our future plans.
