SDA meeting notes - Feb 14, 2005 Attending: Vaia, Elliott, Paul, Aimin, Tim Action items( probably not complete...: 1. Decide what datalogger to use for D0ILUM. Decide If the time interval for reverting to Backup datalogger should be shortened. ( Vaia et al) 2. Get the Feb 7-14 integrated luminosity plot rebuilt. (done) - Suzanne 3. Check if Aimin's MINUIT problems are a JAS problem or in using Minuit. Contact JAS people if needed. (Aimin, Paul) 4. Check then make new frozen library for tables (Vaia, Tim) 5. Meet with aimin later in the week to look at the analysis plots. 1. Problem with derived tables and store checker. The weekly luminosity table stopped updating on Feb 10. Also, the luminosity email was not working correctly. Michelle looked at Tomcat on dpe11 and it looked OK but it was restarted anyway and that seems to have fixed the problem, Other things like Paul's tune fitter also needed restarting. Jim Patrick suspects it was related to the restarting of the Linux machines on Thursday during the shutdown. Tuesday morning the luminosity plots that are rebuilt every night were fine. 2. Tables There have been a number of improvements in the tables and there is a subpage with a number of speciality tables that will soon be made public. D0 luminosity disappeared from the Inst2 datalogger. Vaia will resolve this. Vaia and Tim are working on a new frozen version of the code that makes the tables. It will have a fix for the bug in the MI SBD labview code that recently starting affecting the SBD data. There are also changes that Elliott and Aimin have made. Vaia wanted to do this in stages, but tim thought it best to try to do it all at once. On Tuesday Vaia reported that indeed there are more changes in the test version of the Supertable II than expected, and they will take time to track down. 3. Minuit in JAS Aimin talked more about her problems using the JAS interface to Minuit. We decided that Paul would help her report the problem to SLAC. 4. Analysis of RR vs Accumulator pbar bunches. Aimin has put her plots into the document database. This week she will make the improvements suggested by various people, including using the mean and sigma instead of the 36 bunches. She will meet with Jean and anyone else who is interested on Wednesday or Thursday to go over her work.
