Bob Webber 9/22/2006 This document consists of 3 files: 1) "MIBPM 53MHz boardbyboard Gain Correction Plots.pdf" containing plots of the cable transmission data from beam and from test measurements, a comparison of the two datasets with explanation of most of the differences, and the resulting proposed compensation gains. This file is yet in need of the addition of explanatory text. 2) "MIBPM_boardbyboard_gains.xls" an EXCEL file with all the data, computations, and results. The proposed compensation gains are in Column C on the sheet with the tabbed title "BD-by-Bd Gains". 3) This "read-me" file also containing the proposed compensation gains listed below. __________________________________________ These are the 53 MHz gains for each transition board to compensate for attenuation due to different cable lengths.
