Minutes of the May 22, 2009 Tevatron Dept Meeting http://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2584 * News (Ron) - Just a reminder to get your training up to date prior to the start of the shutdown. Also, start submitting vacation requests for summertime travels. * Weekly Operations Summary (C-Y Tan) - The Tevatron delivered 36.6 pb^-1 to the experiments since last Friday. There were 2 big interruptions caused by failed magnets in the Main Injector that required their replacement. There have been 7 stores with initial luminosities between 168 and 323 ub^-1/s; all were terminated intentionally. One other shot was lost due to a quench in the squeeze - similar to lost shots last week. Some tuning and orbit bumps are being attempted to prevent the problem. Additional turbo pumps were added to A1 and D3 to help the cryogenic vacuum. Testing of coupling and chromaticity measurement applications has continued. The BBQ proton tune measurement is operational; pbars await the return of a VSA out for repair. * Update on BBQ (Chip Edstrom) - Postponed until next week. * Plan for Next Week (All) - Have a safe Memorial Day weekend. - Deliver luminosity. - Test vertical pinger, measure coupling on ramp (Eliana et al., proton-only) - P1 line lattice matching (Alex, proton-only) - IPM tests (Andreas, proton-only) - Bumper as abort gap cleaner (usual suspects, proton-only) - Low-beta lattice measurment (Alex, proton-only)
