Minutes of the September 4, 2009 Tevatron Dept Meeting http://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2774 * News (Ron) - AD is now using the FTL system for effort-reporting. See my slides for some task codes that Tevatron Dept. personnel will likely be using. * Wrapping Up the Shutdown Work (Jim Volk) - D1 and E1 ready for cooldown to 80K, rest of ring already there. Cooldown to 4K will begin after cryo is satisfied with the purification procedure and a controls problem with vacuum readbacks is resolved. Electrical walkthroughs in progress. The tunnel is now under controlled access. Minor tasks still being completed. * Starting Check-Out Tasks (Dean Still) - Lowpot (100 V) looks good. Separator conditioning starting on owl shifts; minor problems with D17 and A17 separators being addressed. The dipole corrector file will be modified only slightly from last HEP store. New automatic injection closure aggregrate will be ready for start-up (needs tests with beam). Based on schedules of other machines, planning on first beam late next week.
