Minutes of the Feb 4, 2011 Tevatron Dept Meeting http://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=4017 * Weekly Operation Summary (C-Y Tan) - Over the past 7 days, the Tevatron delivered 57 pb^-1 to CDF and D0. There have been 9 HEP stores with initial luminosities between 92 and 352 ub^-1/s. Only store 8467 ended prematurely; it had to kept spinning for an extended period during the blizzard that hit the area. High winds blew snow into Main Injector high-voltage cubicles and caused an arc flash in one of them. Store 8467 aborted on high losses after 49 hours during beam studies occuring at low luminosity. Recycler experts have been tweaking their RF curves for mining out pbars for HEP shots; the first bunch of several trains have had much lower intensity than others (~25-35%). Tevatron vertical chromaticity has been raised at flattop to try to prevent the single proton bunch blow-ups in recent shots. * Plan for Next Week (All) - Deliver luminosity. - T980 Crystal Collimator (Dean et al., end-of-HEP) - Hollow e-beam (Alex & Giulio, end-of-HEP) - Longitudinal Pbar Damper (Tan et al., proton-only) - Low-Beta Quad Ticking (Jerry et al., proton-only) - E-cloud (Xiaolong, 1 hr proton-only) - Test of RF Voltage Knobbing (Ron, no beam)
