Minutes of the Feb 25, 2011 Tevatron Dept Meeting https://indico.fnal.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=4134 * News (Ron) - A reminder about the laboratory tornado safety drill at 10:00 on Tuesday 1 March - please participate as appopriate in the area you are at that time. * Weekly Operations Summary (Jerry Annala) - The Tevatron delivered 42 pb^-1 over the past week. There have been 8 stores with initial luminosity between 103 and 330 ub^-1/s. All the stores were terminated intentionally. The vacuum leak at the D17 collimators that developed last Friday was on a bellows between 2 collimators; it was replaced. Duting that time, one of the crystal collimator goniometer was removed in preparation for installing a new crystal in March. The first 4 stores of this week had low initial luminosity due to lingering problems with the Pelletron (electron cooling for Recycler). The last (still ongoing) store #8527 has been kept spinning for over 43 hours due to problems in the Pbar Source and Main Injector; that store now has the record for highest delivered luminosity in a single store > 12 pb^-1. A first attempt at beam-based alignment of a low-beta quad was completed; EE support worked to put an AC signal on the C4Q3 magnet (~1A at 0.3-1 Hz). The obtained data look good; additional analysis need to be done and the exercise repeated with the other 5 triplet magnets at D0. * Plan for Next Week (All) - Deliver luminosity. - Hollow e-beam collimation (Valishev/Stancari, end-of-HEP) - Pbar longitudinal damper (Tan, proton-only then pbar-only) - Electron Cloud (Xiaolong, 1 hr proton-only) - Test of RF Reduction (Ron, 30 min proton-only @ 150 GeV)
